Dr Fiona Emerson MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP

Dr Fiona Emerson is an experienced General Practitioner who has developed an interest in skin diseases and aesthetics over many years. With experience in using a variety of lasers and IPL devices to treat a range of problems, such as facial veins, hair reduction and pigmentation and IPL Facial Rejuvenation. She has a particular interest in medical problems within aesthetics, such as ladies with excess hair due to polycystic ovarian syndrome.

At Brighton Laser & Skin Clinic Dr Fiona Emerson also performs minor surgical operations for a wide range of skin problems, such as skin tags, cysts, seborrhoeic warts and moles, which are increasingly difficult to have treated on the NHS.

Dr Emerson has a wide range of skills ot assess the skin and will help you to decide which treatments are best suited for your particular problem. She performs injectable procedures such as hyaluronic fillers, Sculptra and Botulinum Toxin injections for facial wrinkles (Botox & Azzalure). Dr Emerson also provides micro-sclerotherapy for thread veins on the legs.


 Sarah Williams

Sarah is an aesthetic practitioner with over 12 years experience in the cosmetic industry, qualified in many treatments including laser hair removal, thread vein removal, ipl facial rejuvenation, skin pigmentation, chemical peels, laser tattoo removal and microdermabrasion. Having completed her qualifications as an aesthetic practitioner, Sarah has moved on to further her professional expertise to specialise mainly in Intense Pulsed Light, Laser and dermacosmeceutical treatments. Sarah has achieved a high degree of excellence in her area having worked closely with leading plastic surgeons and consultant dermatologists. Sarah also provides laser training for other practitioners around the country on the Fotona and Sharplight IPL laser systems, and is a member of the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology.


Deborah Peebles

Debbie has worked in the cosmetic industry for over 20 years where she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has over 10 years of clinical experience working with lasers and Intense Pulsed Light sources to provide a wide variety of treatments, and has also worked alongside Doctors and Consultant Dermatologists in a leading Harley Street Clinic. Prior to specialising in laser treatments, Debbie has also worked as a make-up artist for film and television and has also been a healthcare manager for a laser clinic. Deborah specialised in Laser hair removal and advanced skin treatments including  impulsed light treatment for photo-rejuvenation roscea, sun damaged skin and pigmentation problems.

 

 

Star Poling

Star Poling is a registered nurse and aesthetic practitioner; she graduated from Kings College London in 2002. Star chose to specialise in aesthetic medicine in 2005 and has worked for the two largest providers of cosmetic surgical and non-surgical treatments in the UK.

“First and foremost I am a nurse and the health and care of people has been, and always will be, my primary concern. I am passionate about what I do and really enjoy working with my patients. Aesthetics is not just about looking better, it’s about feeling better.”

Star only offers the safest and most effective treatments; she ensures this by regularly attending conferences and undergoing the latest training. In 2007 she started a group for aesthetic practitioners who meet monthly to discuss current best practices and the advances in aesthetic medicine.

Her attention to detail and her artistic background enhance her commitment to giving each patient the individual care they deserve.
