The Restylane Product Range

The Restylane range of Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers all use the same NASHA technology to fill-in fine lines and wrinkles.

What is the difference between the products in the range?

The products in the Restylane family have varying particle size and are designed to be injected at different depths within the skin to subtly alter the contour of facial elements.

What can be treated with Restylane?

Restylane can be used for facial contouring to restore youthfulness and volume to the face.

The Original Restylane - To Correct the Contour of Glabella Frown Lines

Restylane will produce good results along the naso-labial folds, lips and around the angle of the mouth. Deeper injections are required to restore the contour of the cheeks (Restylane Sub-Q) and thicker longer-lasting fillers are used to treat the naso-labial folds (Perlane - larger molecule than Restylane). Restylane Lip is used to improve the contour of the lip and to reduce bleed lines.

Restylane Perlane -  Correct the contour of Naso-Labial folds

The ageing process produces loss in skin volume and resorption of bone producing prominent naso-labial folds on the central face. This can be corrected by deep dermal rehydration using Perlane. Perlane is composed of Hyaluronic Acid and differs from Restylane because it is made from larger molecules and is longer-lasting. Restylane Perlane now also comes with Lidocaine, a local anaesthetic which helps to make treatment more comfortable.

Restylane SUBQ

Restylane SUBQ is a dermal filler that restores volume, facial balance and symmetry to the cheeks or chin. It provides a non-surgical alternative to cheek implants and can also be used for HIV-related facial lipoatrophy. Restylane SubQ is an advanced dermal filler that can be provided by Consultant Dermatologist Dr Russell Emerson.
